Three fittings, one body.

A bidet spray normally needs three separate fittings on the wall: an angle valve, an outlet, and a holder for the hand shower. Shattaf is one body that does all three. The water opens when the hand shower is lifted out of it, and closes when it goes back.

What it replaces

The conventional installation is three fittings: an angle valve, an outlet, and a holder screwed to the tile. Each is a separate alignment on a finished wall and a separate thing to seal. Shattaf is one body, with a ceramic on-off valve inside it, and the hand shower itself is the handle.

Mechanism

How it works

One body, not three fittings

The water connection, a ceramic on-off valve and the hand-shower holder are a single wall unit. One set of connections to make, one alignment to get right, one seal to answer for.

The water follows the shower

Pushing or pulling the hand shower opens and closes the valve. The shower is the control, so there is no separate tap on the wall to reach for.

Concealed or pre-wall

Three of the four configurations are concealed in the wall. The fourth is a pre-wall body, mounted before tiling. One of the concealed versions feeds an instant heater, which then needs only an electrical connection.

  • Chrome wall valve with one threaded outlet, a recessed ball service valve on top and an integrated hand-shower holder

    6046-00 — concealed 4-in-1

    For instant heaters, which then connect to electricity only.

  • Chrome pre-wall valve body standing off the wall plate, with two threaded connections underneath and an integrated hand-shower holder
